500 acres of federal lands adjacent to the client’s
existing development in Las Vegas. While at the same time
establishing and funding - without impacting the federal

Area
- Continuous
local government consultation regarding zoning matters as
well as state & federal land issues which impact community

- Coordinate the development of renewable
energy projects ' wind and solar ' employing the significant land and water resources held by client
in both Nevada and Arizona by establishing relationships with potential development partners, initiating

- Manage the national public affairs outreach and public education campaign to improve the recognition of biomass electrical power generation as an important form of renewable energy. Stress message points of biomass environmental benefits and availability nationwide.

County Regional Flood Control District
- We're directing the District's effort to secure passage of a bill in the US Congress regarding BLM land transfers to the District and other public entities in Clark County, Nevada.
- Responsible for all discussions with the District and members of the Congressional delegation related to federal funding and other policy matters affecting the District's activities.
- Successful passage of the Orchards Detention Bill as part of the Congressional Public Lands bill in 2009 which provided the District with necessary access to federal lands for the construction of a new detention basin designed to protect thousands of homes and businesses.
Renegy Holdings, Inc.
- Assist previous employer with matters related to federal contracts and government agencies associated with the operations of a 24MW biomass plant in Snowflake, Arizona including BLM, Western Governors' Association, US Forest Service and others.

New
Mexico and Arizona Land Company & NZ Legacy
- Management
of several natural resource matters pending in Congress
and before various agencies of the federal and Arizona state
governments. Including:
- Achieved passage of Federal
legislation to expand the Petrified Forest National
Park and acquire portions of NZ’s land and mineral
right holdings.
- Direct
the preparation and passage of the Apache and Navajo
County comprehensive plans as required by state law.
- The
drafting and successful agreement for development
agreements with Navajo and Apache Counties.
- Monitoring
forest issues including a potential stewardship contract
with the National Forest Service to assist with forest
restoration efforts following the Rodeo-Chediski fire.
- Executing
a three-way federal land exchange with the BLM &
National Park Service.
- Developing
and implementing strategies for the development and/or
successful transition of thousands of acres of mineral
rights to the fee land owners including tribal governments.

fuels energy ranch in Northeast Arizona by exploring alternatives
and creating opportunities associated with wind, hydro,
clean coal, biomass and solar technologies.
